(1,978 grams or 4 lbs. 5.8 oz.)

I've been working so hard on my breathing. It is 11pm and I'm still on the Nasal CPAP, (that makes it 41 hours that I've been off of my ventilator.) At 9pm, when Mom left, I was looking great with my oxygen at 36% and my CO2s at 49. Since its Christmas, I wanted to make Mom and Dad extra proud, and boy oh boy did I ever!! This morning, my x-ray looked pretty icky, so they will take another one tomorrow to see how my lungs are doing. They've also removed my PIC line! For the first time in my entire life, I am free of IV's. Mom's pretty excited about that, now she can dress me much more easily. I'm SO grateful to all of you who keep track of my daily progress and share in my successes. I know that you are taking good care of my Mom and Dad and your prayers and well wishes have meant the world to this little "tough" guy and our little family. Thank you and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
