(1,929 grams or 4 lbs. 4 oz.)
I've had a really stable day today and my oxygen and carbon dioxide levels have been great. I'll bet they will be able to wean my ventilator settings even more tomorrow. They are going to have a Nasal CPAP machine standing by in case I extubate myself again. Every now and then Mom sees me eyeing my ventilator tube and she knows exactly what's on my mind. Dad and Mom spent the afternoon with me at the hospital. Once again, Mom held me while Dad slept like a baby next to us. Today they gave me a little extra blood since my CRIT was a little down. Since they gave me blood they also had to give me lasiks (a diuretic to help me pass fluid). All in all, it was smooth sailing today. Mom and Dad sure do like it when I have good days
