(not weighed)
I just don't feel good today. My eyes are very swollen and I'm just not feeling like myself. I've been swinging a lot on my oxygen needs and have been anywhere from 24 percent to 70 percent. When I'm not feeling well, I just don't like to be touched and so the nurses and Mom have kept the touching to a minimum. They are trying to keep on top of my pain with medication and have been doing a pretty good job of it. I stir every now and then but for the most part have been sleeping. Mom had a hard day and was upset that I'm not feeling good; however, the doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists keep reassuring her that this is not uncommon after surgery and that I will bounce back in a few days. Dad has been really busy getting ready for the Olympics and has had to work this whole weekend. He came down after work today and spent some time with me, but I can tell he and Mom are both pretty beat.
