What a day I had today. Mom arrived at the hospital in time for my 1 p.m. feeding. We did the breastfeeding thing and I did excellent. I latched right on and all together sucked and swallowed for over 10 minutes. Sue (my nurse today) and Mom decided not to supplement with any additional feeding and to wait and see if I acted hungry. I slept clear through until my next feeding. That is an excellent sign and means that I nursed long enough to satisfy my hunger. Mom was very excited at how well I did. Tomorrow we will nurse twice. Dad stayed home today and worked on my room. He wants it to be just right for me.
