I made it 21 whole hours off of my ventilator! At about 1:30 a.m. I was beginning to get tired of all of that breathing I was doing and my oxygen needs went up. They decided to reintubate me. It was really hard work! They are giving me a little break and my vent settings have been pretty high today; however, my C02s and O2s (Carbon Dioxide & Oxygen) needs have been low which is great. They will begin weaning down my settings again in the next day or so.
