(1,615 grams or 3 lbs. 9 oz.)
I've been a good kid today. They've weaned down my ventilator settings and I am now at a rate of zero (meaning they aren't giving me any breaths, just supporting the ones I take). That is pretty impressive considering that my pseudomonas is back and is making my chest x-rays look icky. I've been very calm and have spent most of the day sleeping. Mom held me for a long time and we worked on sucking my pacifier. I did a good job, although I was awfully sleepy. It will be much easier once I don't have the ventilator tube down my throat. I'm really getting big and strong now. I'm learning to control my arms, which makes Mom and Dad awfully nervous as they're afraid I'll pull my ventilator tube out.
