Today has been a good day. I've been feeling much better and I think I'm past the worst of my pneumonia. They've taken me off all of the antibiotics I've been on and they are really working on increasing my feedings. I'm up to 17 cc's of Mom's milk every three hours. I'm getting much better at digesting and I've pooped without the help of suppositories (Yay! I hated those things). They are really pushing to get me off the ventilator and are weaning me down. They are hoping to have me on the Nasal CPAP (a little mask that helps me with oxygen through my nose instead of having tubes down my throat) in the next day or so. Mom was so excited today because I was so alert and spent lots of time with my eyes open. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers, the next couple of days will be really important for me.
