(929 grams or 2 lbs. 0.8 oz.)

Another great day! They've decided to give my tummy a bit of a break, I was having troubles digesting, not unusual in a baby my size. Right now, they're just playing with my oxygen levels, ventilator pressure and breathing rate to perfect my blood gas results, while also preparing my lungs for the real world. Dad held me today, he was pretty nervous, and my hiccups didn't help. (I kept jerking and Dad got a bit jumpy.) After about 10 minutes, my hiccups went away and I looked at Dad and decided that it was ok for me to snooze for a bit. He calmed down too, and we stayed together for about 45 minutes. Then, they put me in my new bed! Its more of an incubator, much quieter and darker. By graduating to the new bed, they've indicated that I'm responding well to my treatments and I will not revert to the old oscillating ventilator. (That ventilator is not used with this type of bed.)
