(1,023 grams or 2 lbs. 4.1 oz.)

Well, another day another squirm. I was really squirmy today, I just couldn't get comfortable. My oxygen needs were up, and my chest x-ray looked a bit hazy. Which means I have some fluid in my lungs. My x-rays have looked like this before, they just keep working on finding the right levels for my ventilator. Hope they find them soon! Mom held me for over an hour today and they resumed my feedings. The nurse, Katherine, decided that maybe 3 cc's was a bit ambitious and decided to just up it a little bit at a time and see how I handle it. I did great with the first feeding, so far so good! Dad was astounded at my huge weight jump from 929 grams to 991 grams (last night,) but then we learned that with the new bed, comes a new scale. We're still happy, as this new scale seems more reliable.
