(2,322 grams or 5 lbs. 2.1 oz.)
I've been working hard at my breathing all day! Its much harder than you might think. They took an x-ray of my chest to see how my lungs looked and they said my lungs looked better than they've looked for a long time. My oxygen and CO2s were a little high but because my x-ray looked good they decided to let me continue to breath with only the Nasal Canula and to take another x-ray at 5 p.m. to see if my lungs still looked okay. My 5 p.m. x-ray also looked good; however my oxygen and CO2s crept up all day long. At about 9 p.m. they decided that I was having to work too hard at my breathing and needed a little rest. They put me back on the Nasal CPAP (the mask that fits over my nose and blows air pressure into my lungs). Mom and Dad are SO proud of me. I will breath with the help of the Nasal CPAP for the next couple of days then maybe we will give it another go on the Nasal Canula.
