Hopefully I'm on the upswing! My blood tests came back negative at 48 hours, they wait for 72 or even 96 hours, before declaring me in the clear. Same for my spinal fluid, no signs of infection yet! There's still no sign of a heart murmur or PDA, they'll perform a ECG Tuesday. Today, I went through "deep tracheal suction" and they sucked out all kinds of gunk from of my lungs. My swelling went down some and I was very alert, I looked at my mom for almost 10 minutes. (She's good lookin', Dad's one lucky guy.)
